So yesterday the package arrived! My new camera! I've been waiting for this for a while. The Canon EOS 30D with the standard 18-55mm lens, a 28-135mm IS lens, and a (larger than I thought it would be) case for it all are now mine. I had to take some pictures... but I have no clue how to change anything. Today I went out and took some pictures around my town. I also took some of my sisters flowers and ring. If you want to see how awesome of pictures this thing takes, look no further. Here is a small version of the picture.
The native picture size of this camera in 8.2MP mode is 3504x2336, so the above picture was drastically shrunken. I have uploaded a cropped version of the native image, just showing the center flower, so you can see how good the pictures are right out of the camera. Beware though, it's a 3MB file.
